Philosophy of Education
Our Christian education perspective then is to teach and train toward a Biblical worldview. We also believe it was the whole man who fell into sin, becoming wholly defiled in every part of soul and body, and it is the whole man that needs to be redeemed by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:23; 1 Thess. 5:23). For this reason we believe we should be concerned with the training of the whole child and the study of his whole world.
Christian Life Academy will purpose to develop the spiritual, intellectual, physical and social needs of its students (Luke 2:52). We desire to accommodate the individual differences of development and to challenge each child to his/her fullest God-given potential. Because we recognize that the primary responsibility for the education of children rests with their parents (Eph. 6:4), Christian Life Academy seeks to work closely with the parents to instill into its students the standards for life and learning that are consistent with the Scriptures and which result in Christ-like character. We also believe the church was given by God to help families and individuals carry out these spiritual responsibilities. We endeavor to act in partnership with the home and the church for the training and equipping of the child to impact and change the world for Jesus Christ.
